I recently had a new battery fitted to my iPhone 8. For most of the day my phone is in my pocket, I don’t switch it on, but 80% of the battery usage is due to home and Lock Screen. Can anyone explain why this is? It appears that just moving around with the phone in my phone is switching the phone on and off.

Many of the functions for weather and location are constantly running in the background even when the phone is locked. You can go into the settings and turn off many of these features.
