Apple Pay

I’m new to this Apple Pay. I set it up yesterday and I accidentally pressed the buttons on the right (I meant to tap on the left to raise the volume). As I’d pressed twice on the right up came my credit card. How should I get out of that? Do I flick it away? I ended up swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Is that what you should do?

I also know that when you download a free app it requires that I press twice on the left. Will doing this bring up my credit card? Thank you 😊
