Apple ID on old iPad mini 2 not allowed to be used because of old IOS

Hi, I am trying to login to the App Store so that I can use my iPad as a second monitor with apps available. I cannot authenticate because it says my IPAD OS is too old. I tried to bypass by downloading the app on my iPhone and then go into my user id and find it under purchased, but it is not appearing (since I can't logon). thx

iPad App Store Trying to Accept Old Apple ID I have an iPad that needs a program updated. It updated one with no issues, but when I tried to update a second app it says I need to Sign in to the App Store. It says Your Apple ID (one that has long since been deleted) or password is incorrect. How do I get it to sign in with the correct apple id? When I pull up the account, it shows the correct apple ID iPadOS Version 16.6.1

On iPhone when trying to update apps I am asked to enter my password for an old Apple id. As a result I am unable to finish all the updates. How tomresolve? App store continues to show apps that are not updated on my iPhone 8. It asks me to sign in with password on an old Apple ID. I am already signed in with my current user Apple ID.. Need to have update stop asking for old information.
