How to control Logic for iPad with external midi

I have a midi controller iRigs I/O 49 (IK Multimedia - iRig Keys I/O) and I wonder whether I can configure Logic for iPad to assign knobs, sliders, and buttons to specific settings in the app. E.g., use a knob to control the volume.

Start, pause and stop a track in Logic Pro for iOS I have created an audio track in Logic Pro for iOS and would like to control it using my MIDI controller. I want to be able to stop, pause, and start it as well as rewind it. How can I assign MIDI controls to these functions? I imagine these would be Real Time or CC messages. I'm using a Morning Star MC6 Pro controller, but this would apply to any controller. Can someone point me to the documentation for this particular feature or provide details here? I've already successfully used MIDI to control volume of the tracks in my project. Thanks!
