My Iphone 14 Pro has powered itself off and wont switch back on.

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 


(2)  If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.


(3)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.

The same thing happened to mine six weeks after the warranty expired…I received a phone call at 5:45, put the phone on the wireless charger in my kitchen while I made dinner, and at 7:00 when I picked it up, it was dead, wouldn’t power on, didn’t respond to the reset, computer wouldn’t recognize it…I can send it in for repair for $649 after I spent $1000 on it and it’s barely a year old….are you kidding me??
