iPhone 12 battery draining too fast after iOS 16.5 update

Noticed a huge difference after updating the OS. Now I have to charge my phone multiple times a day. Its been already 2 weeks since I upgraded.

Earlier the battery was staying more than a day.

Is there any way to go back to original OS without losing the data?

No, Apple does not support downgrading iOS to a lower version. You, therefore cannot go back to the previous iOS version.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
