MacBook Air M2

These comments and questions relate to a MacBook Air M2 8GB Ram 512GB ssd in the UK.

Re - The Apple OS apps that cannot be removed. Has anyone installed third party software to remove these ? Is it worth it ? it appears in total they only account for around 1.5 GB on the ssd.

When the MacBook Air M2 is plugged in for long periods, intelligent charging appears to take over and it only charges to 85%.

Still no solution from MS office re New Outlook being incapable of importing contacts (ie - Still greyed out)

I am not using Time Machine auto back-up. I have a Samsung T7 1 TB external ssd to manually back-up once a Month all my files. If I have a major crash or unable to load the Ventura OS I will re-install it and transfer files back into the machine. is this a good strategy.

Comments/advice is welcome.

MacOS included apps can not be removed. Do not install third party apps that claim to clean, manage, boost performance etc. The MacOS manages the system very well.

The MacOS manages the charging/power system very well. If you do not want to use optimized charbing, disable it. But why would you want to do that. The system will learn your charging needs.

That is a terrible strategy. Use Time Machine or other backup mechanism.
