it's frustrating that apple watch does auto correct, changing words unnecessarily. Especially, when I want to send a voice note as a text message in my own language, autocorrect messes up the entire thing. very annoying. I checked the connected iphone, auto correct is disabled on my phone, but apple watch still does auto correct

Disabling autocorrect on the iPhone does NOT disable autocorrect on the watch. Your answer is not correct.
I did read your question. And autocorrect is set up in iPhone messaging and transfers over to Apple Watch messaging. The two devices are linked for services like this. If you don't want to use the advice I offered, that's fine. But I did offer the correct response.

Me too. I bought the Ultra 2 for the keyboard function too, but i cannot turn off autocorrection, and I can't even add the keyboard in my language (romanian), so I think I'll return it.
