Apple Lightning HDMI adapter plays blank black screen when video format changes.

This is new to the recent iOS. The video will play apply music videos and Apple movies but when auto play goes to the next video/movie of a different video format it goes blank on the TV. Sometimes even after the adapter is unplugged the iPad or iPhone will just play sound and no video. This would indicate to me an issue on the Apple OS. I did a full erase settings and content, and setup as a new phone. Same results. I’m getting to the point I will start pushing a refund on all Apple accessories purchased since Apple has made them unusable. All are Apple accessories and not generic. A side note, this also happens on airplay to an Apple TV. All devices on the most recent OS.

Not and AirPlay2 issue. All compatible devices and TVs. This is something with Apple OS not handling the videos ratio changing from standard, to 16:9, and other formats. It will play the original song in its format, say 16:9, but when the next song is in 4:3, the screen is blank with audio, then it switches back to a 16:9 and both video and audio play. If you start with a 4:3, then the 16:9 play blank with audio. This used to work with all the same devices and TVs. Only change is Apple iOS.
