Hello AndreyIvlev,
If you're unable to select a Bluetooth speaker as an audio output, try removing and reconnecting it from the computer.
In the Bluetooth settings Control-click the name of the Bluetooth device then select Forget.
Once it's removed, put the Bluetooth device back into pairing mode then reconnect it with the computer.
Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac
If you have other external audio devices connected to the computer, you can also try disconnecting them to see if they may be causing a conflict.
Make sure you've covered the basics like restarting the computer and making sure it's up to date as well.
Cheers!
Hey AndreyIvlev,
If you haven't already, test for the behavior in Safe Mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
"Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility. And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed."
Let us know the results.
I tried it all with no success. Fun fact — the speaker works perfectly when connected to my iPhone. I tried to forget the speaker on the phone and reconnect to iPhone again. It works as expected. But it is just not in the output devices list on Mac.
I thought iPhone can “steal” connection, removed from iPhone and disabled BT on the phone, connected to the Mac again — still the same problem: device is connected but unavailable as an output device.
