I have tried turning on and turning off the phone. Voice recorder is not on. Yet I waste so much time deleting and re-typing since anytime you click the voice record it duplicates multiple sentences that you just dictated please someone give a different fix.

iPhone 14 Pro Max
My 15 pro just started repeating blocks of text when I pause while using voice to text. This just started immediately after an update to 17.4.1. I can't get it to stop. Sometimes it will duplicate a paragraph 3 or 4 times.

After the 17.4.1 iOS update my 14 Pro Max is doing the same thing and it is driving me crazy. It seems to only do it in text messages. I am currently using it right now and it is not repeating.
Same. It happened frequently on my old iPhone XS— I chalked it up to the old hardware at the time. Now it’s happening on my brand new iPhone SE 2022– extremely disappointing.
iPhone 12 Pro Max. Same problem after updating to 17.4. Repeating text sometimes 2 to 4 copies of the repeated phrase. Voiceover is off already. Any other ideas?
SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING... every suggestion in this thread does not apply to me... didnt have a single one of the accessibility things turned on.

No sir - having same issues. Clarity is not an issue and neither speak or spoken is turned on.
Curious if the people experiencing this issue also have an Apple Watch? Wonder if both phone and watch are picking up the voice text.
When I’m dictating, my my phone repeats it again and again in writing multiple times
My voice text is repeating itself. This is something new and it’s extremely annoying. It began after the latest update.
