Black screen when streaming a film/serie on my MacBook Air

Hi - I access my standard Apple TV screen but when I select the episode to play it seems to start normally but then I get a black screen and nothing plays. I have recently upgraded to BigSur 11.7.7

Today I wanted to watch a movie but I got a black screen with sound only. This happened as soon as I turned on the screen mirroring. I have updated all devices and also apple tv itself. Internet is fast enough. I log in to hbo through web browser, so I do not use an app. I have tried safari, firefox and chrome. Also cleared caches. Contacted hbo and they informed me that they do not block any streaming. Have the same issue with netflix. But when I watch youtube vids, all works fine. Not sure what to do anymore. Anyone has the same issue? Thanks in advance.

Apple TV+ not playing various titles Severance season 2 episode 10 cold harbor won't play on laptop. Same for Your Friends & Neighbours... Other shows seem to be working. I've rebooted, checked mac is up to date. Any ideas?

Apple TV doesn't start movies/episodes Hi y'all, Since a few days, I have had the problem that episodes or movies do not start after clicking them; actually, nothing happens. However, the weird thing is that some episodes/movies can start and, therefore, be watched. I already tried out a few things: force stop of the app, restarting the Mac, checking for updates, resetting cache/warning/ and history of the app, and deleting com.apple.TV.plist file. But none of the steps helped, and I still have the problem, but do not know how to solve it. Perhaps someone of you encountered the same or could help me, that would be awesome, thanks in advance :) Best, Nils
