Mac Studio Ventura Kernel Panic on Time Machine

TimeMachine crashes and restarts my new Mac Studio each time it attempts a backup on a second disc (no problem for TM on the first disk) whatever its formatting is: APFS or HFS. This disk worked perfectly with older High Sierra iMac where it was in fact a TM backup disk.

Both discs are formatted HFS journaled. On Mac Studio the first disk backs up fine since the first day - the second disk always causes crash and restart each time I try TM. The disc itself is running fine if not used as TM n.2.

Note: on Mac Studio the connection to the critical disk is a Thundebolt 2 to Thundebolt 4 adapter. Could it be a culprit ? (instead the working disk is connected by MicroB to USBC)

THANKS! Piero (EntreCheck report attached)

Ventura needs GUID/apfs not HFS+
