In "shared screen-mode", How do I (if possible) 'disable' the reading list AND bookmarks list from popping up when I move the mouse cursor to the left?

Please, no one-dimensional answers. I have seen a few threads that do not pay attention to this question's specifics. To be more technically precise, when I am in shared screen mode, I prefer to have my arrangement set with my iPad Pro on the left; when I do, and I move the cursor to the iPad, my bookmarks or reading list pop up, and 'hiding' the bookmarks or reading list does not seem to stop this from happening.
