is there a way to edit the cell range for a formula with the keyboard on iPad, instead of dragging the borders of the range?

In my experimentation I haven’t found a way to edit a cell range the one can on Numbers for Mac, though I can tap the cell range, hit the delete key and type a new range.
But given the nice touch interface on the iPad I find it much easier to just drag the borders of the range.
