Apple Music wont play on Google Home

We understand Apple Music isn't playing on your Google Home device. To address this behavior, unlink Apple Music from your device.

Unlink Apple Music from your Nest device

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open the Google Home app.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Music.

4. Under Apple Music, tap Unlink. If Apple Music is set as your default music service, select another music service as your default, or select "No default." Then tap Unlink under Apple Music.

If unlinking and relinking the account did not resolve the matter, you may need to confirm that Apple Music is set as the default music service and restart the impacted devices.

Verify that the service works through another means, whether that be an Apple device or the Apple Music site with the same credentials. If the service works elsewhere, it may be necessary to use the link from the previous article to contact Google support:

Hi, on my Samsung galaxy S23, "Hey Google" doesn't work with the Apple Music app.

What should I do? I've formatted the phone, reinstalled app, and reconfigured various services, but nothing seems to work.

When I say, "Hey/OK Google, play song X by Y," the app opens, shows me the song, but doesn't start playing, and the same happens for other songs.

Especially when I'm in the car and the display stays on standby. Is there a solution?

I've also tried disabling and enabling Android Auto or other services, but it doesn't work.

Is it possible that Google and Apple Music are so incompatible?

Is it possible that Google, Apple and Samsung, are no solution?

Of course, as my primary phone, I always use an iPhone without any problems, but it's inconceivable that such incompatibility could exist nowadays.

I should mention that I encounter the same problem on other Android devices. Whereas on Alexa, iPhone, iPad, Mac, this problem doesn't exist.
