Can a Forced Restart Hurt an iPhone?

No, a forced restart will not hurt your iPhone. It is a safe way to restart your iPhone if it is frozen or not responding. A forced restart is different from a normal restart in that it does not allow the operating system to shut down gracefully. Instead, it cuts power to the phone, which can sometimes clear up software glitches that are causing the phone to freeze.
