I'm living in Austria and since my Austrian phone number doesnt support the apple watch, i want to activate my Portuguese one which supports (Vodafone) but when i go to the apple watch settings, says "Apple Watch cannot use cellular while roaming internationally" and I can figure how to resolve it.

Just turn off the second line, then this message will disappear. It works for me.
Sounds like the answer to my question was no. It isn't a free service.
According to the setup video, i can do it in the moment, i just have to access the page that opens on the app when setting up the cellular connection, but i cant open the page to due the "Apple Watch cannot use cellular while roaming internationally" problem. The button is disabled with that message underneath
A Portugese SIM in Austria is roaming so if the app says you can't do that then you can't. Call Vodafone.
Or change to one of these for your iphone contract
But I have both connections in the iPhone, I'm using dual-sim. Physicial for PT (Vodafone) and eSim from AT (Drei), but can't activate the PT one on the Apple Watch
Have you arranged with Vodafone for the additional fee to activate the Watch eSIM in the country you want to travel in?
It's done when setting up in the vodafone page. I login as my phone number account and agree to the fee according to the video. And then i pay monthly
Didn't work. Vodafone is on roaming and my Drei tariff doesn't support Apple Watch. Not even by disabling one of them
