I have over 100 Albums in Photos. I want to give a copy to my 3 children.

They're your photos and you can give them to whomever you like. But I'd imagine 100 Albums to be a very large chuck of space.

If it were me, and knowing my kids, I'd give them on some sort of archive quality optical disk or a real disk drive and never trust a card or thumb drive with valuable information.
