Missing facetime notifications and logs

I'm missing facetime call logs on the FaceTime app on my iPhone and on my iPad from sporadic times.

I had multiple facetime calls on my iphone to someone on a specific date and it is not reflecting on my iPad FaceTime app or my iPhone FaceTime app. In trying to figure this out I cannot find my last missed facetime call on before a specific date as the app tends to autowipe history at random intervals.

E.g I have 1 missed video call today 30/5/23 and the app shows me the last video call from the same person was on the 18/5/23 (All from the iPhone FaceTime app)

On the iPhone (Phone app) call logs I have had 28 video calls with that person in between those dates.

On my iPad FaceTime app, I have the same record of missed calls as on my iPhone FaceTime app. Only 2 from those times in the first example.

The question is, why are all the other dates missing?

I notice than when I call back on my facetime app on the iphone it doesn't reflect on the ipad facetime app.

Then when trying to check on the ipad facetime app (as there is no phone app) it's missing from there when trying to find it.
