iPhone 14 and Apple watch settings

I just purchased an iPhone 14 and I have an Apple watch. The phone is ringing even when I am wearing the Apple watch. How can I change my setting so that the phone does not ring?

  1. Turn off "Mirror my iPhone" in the Watch app. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to Notifications, and then tap Phone. Make sure that the switch next to "Mirror my iPhone" is turned off.
  2. Turn down the volume on your iPhone. You can do this by pressing the volume buttons on the side of your iPhone.
  3. Turn on Do Not Disturb on your iPhone. To do this, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the crescent moon icon.

Use a different ringtone for your Apple Watch. You can do this by opening the Watch app on your iPhone, going to Sounds & Haptics, and then tapping Ringtone. Select a different ringtone for your Apple Watch so that you can easily tell when a call is coming in on your watch but not on your phone.

  • If you have tried all of these things and your iPhone is still ringing when you are wearing your Apple Watch, you may need to contact Apple Support for help.
