Is there a way to block all calls from a Specific Area Code on iPhone?

There isn’t a built-in feature in iOS that allows you to block all calls from a specific area code. However, you can try a few other methods:

1. Silence Unknown Callers: In the Phone section of the Settings app, there is a feature called “Silence Unknown Callers”. This will send all calls from unrecognized numbers straight to voicemail. However, it will silence all calls from numbers not in your contacts, not just ones from a specific area code.

2. Third-Party Apps: There are several third-party apps available in the App Store that claim to provide more granular control over call blocking. Look for an app with good reviews and clear privacy policies.

It isn't yet possible to block a range in iOS. But, there is a $2.99 item in the App Store that supposedly works very well for that.

Yes. You don’t need a 3rd party App.

as someone somewhere on here said, but here the two suggestions are combined:

go to contacts. Make a new contact with the name whatever you want, something like Blocked Calls I. For the phone number enter “1-(area code you want to block). Press Save.

Now go to settings and scroll down to the phone app. Click on it and scroll down to Blocks (or something like that) and all your blocked numbers will come up. I had hundreds. Scroll down to the bottom where it says add new. Enter the name you gave this contact such as Blocked Callers I. (You might have to hit enter, I don’t remember).

go back to contacts and pull up that contact and scroll down to the bottom. It will show Unblock Caller. Hopefully this works as I put the two advices together to do this. If I see who gave this advice I will come back and credit them, but it wasn’t me.

So, are you saying you're posting this without having tested it? Or have you tested it and found it works?

Good luck, and thanks for the use info. I've never tried either myself. I just know they exist and recommend them to users who ask a similar question to yours.
