Battery Health

After less than a year of having my IPhone 14 Pro Max it has decreased to 95% battery health. I first noticed the decline in the early months. I try to charge only until 100% and keep screen time low. Is this normal?

Your phone is fine. Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

All is fine. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine why, nor when, the Battery Health decreases. Once the Battery Heath reaches 80% or lower, Apple recommends you get a new battery.
