some applications not available anymore

after possible update (not sure) some applications turned grey (google, Spotify,..) and won't open, no updates available & won't download / be installed again, please help!

app store not loading App Store not loading. Shows nothing: no user, no apps. Also, using "About this Mac > Software update" I get a message that I'm not connected to the internet (except I am) so maybe that is why App Store is not loading. Any clues why the software update/App Store isn't communicating and how to overcome the issue would be appreciated. Thanks.
