Apple Watch drain after every single update

Why on earth has the design team not been fired after having 2 years to fix the battery drain problem after every single update? Unpairing, erasing, then re-pairing the watch is the most absurd fix to a problem of all time. None of the updates fix anything anyway. They only render the battery useless.

It's simply not unusual to have battery drain after an OS update. For a couple days, a device which has been updated, is often reindexing data.

Otherwise, you are speaking to only other users on this user to user only forum. No one here works for Apple. And suggesting the Apple Engineers be fired for an issue which is pretty common and not broken, hardly makes any sense.

If you think they should be fired, please be free to tell Apple using this link --> Feedback - Watch - Apple

Ps: After you update any device you own, immediately after updating, do you restart your device? If no, you should. I restart every device after updating and I never have any unusual battery drain on any device.

Hi! Multiple factors could be affecting your Apple Watch's battery life, such as Bluetooth and how active you are. Read the 'Tips for Apple Watch' section in this article to find out how to preserve your watch's battery throughout the day: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple.

Depending on when you bought your Apple Watch, its battery could be ageing. This makes the battery less capable of holding a charge. You can check your watch's battery health by following these steps:

  1. On your watch, open Settings.
  2. Tap Battery  > Battery Health.

If the maximum capacity is less than 80%, it's recommended that you get the battery replaced: https://getsupport.apple.com

Take care!
