No, SEPTA does not support Apple's Wallet. SEPTA recently announced they are going to be moving away from the proprietary software they put in place (after much delay) a couple of years back. Hopefully, that will lead to better integration. But, given how long it took us to get the SEPTA Key, I would suggest you don't hold your breath.

Meanwhile, you can, in theory, use tap-to-pay from the SEPTA app. It's very cumbersome (you have to buy a fare within the app) and, I'm not sure how well it works. I did use it one time when I had left my Key at home. The fare box made the right noise and the trolley driver let me on. But, I still haven't figured out what the fare was charged to (my SEPTA Key account? Apple Pay? The card linked to my SEPTA Key account?). I wouldn't even know where to begin to explain the process to you.

Looks like you can add you Key card as a prepaid debit card, but not sure if you can add it directly into the Wallet to use like a transit card (i.e. weekly, monthly pass) yet. But for other credit/debit cards, Apple Pay definitely works.

Nope, it's still can't be added as a Transit Card. However, the Settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>Express Transit Card function works well.
