Apple Wallet change phone number

Hi

I have a question about Apple Wallet.

I have a number of credit/debit cards in my Apple Wallet

from different banks

I registered all those cards via the Wallet app using my

iPhone and my usual mobile phone number.

I am about to undertake some travel and whilst I will have

the same iPhone with me, I want to use a different SIM card.

In Apple Wallet settings I see you can change the mobile

number of the phone but does this automatically tell all the card providers

they have to send any OTPs, 2FA etc to the new number in Apple Wallet?    Or do you have to change the contact

details in every card set up in Wallet from every bank to tell them you have a “new”

number?
