Why is Freeform using CPU when never launched or used?

I'm not to Ventura (and Apple Silicon 🎉), so I haven't gotten around to using Freeform yet. However, it is using CPU. I'm during 6.2% CPU and 11:13:33.xx CPU time.

Does Freeform constantly use resources in the background even if it's never used?

You still haven't said which one you meant. 😎

If you meant FreeForm it shouldn't be using the CPU unless it's open.

If you meant FreeSpace you should contact the vendor, not Apple.

In either case, ditch the hat. 🙂
