Failed to authenticate with Google. Try again later

For me, the privacy tab in Safari was preventing the passing of the authentication data. So I switched my default browser to Chrome, and it immediately authenticated. Then I switched the default browser back to Safari and everything is working perfectly again.

I had the same issue. Made my default browser as Chrome and disabled Private Relay. Worked like a charm

Nothing is working for me

• Tried by setting Safari as Default.
• Unchecked 'Use advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection' .
• Tried with setting Chrome as Default browser.
• Tried Using Firefox by setting as Default browser.
• removed all keys or password from keychain.
• Tried with restart mac multiple times.
• Tried by adding Internet Account

This is most irritating error i have ever seen, wasted 2 todays on it but no solution

I am also facing the same issue.

Nothing resolved the error yet.

I also even tried reinstalling Sonoma, installing using USB drive, even downgraded to Ventura. Nothing resolved the error.

I tried both on chrome and safari but nothing working. My mac is running on macOS 14.4.1 pls help.

Mac's Mail App is not as modern as iOS's Mail app, Many eMail providers now require a separate App Password different from your eMail password…

It might just need an App Password separate from the gMail password…

I did the same, and even after changing the default browser to Chrome the error hasn't been resolved yet.
