How To Send Caller To Voicemail When You Don't Have Another Call

iPhone 7

If you have an active call and another one comes in there is an option to send the new call to voice mail.

If you do not have an active call there isn't an option to send the caller to voice mail. You have to wait with the phone ringing until the call gets sent to voicemail.

Is there any way to send a call to voicemail?

When your iPhone is locked, the option to decline incoming calls is not available (as you know). Instead, you can press the Side or Sleep/Wake button once or twice to silence or reject calls, respectively. The Decline button shows up only when your iOS device is unlocked.

You can simply decline the call when you see it on the Lock Screen and that will send it directly to Voicemail. If you are not able to interact with the screen during a set period of time then you can activate the Do Not Disturb Focus feature so that ALL incoming calls go directly to voicemail. You can turn the feature OFF when your are ready to interact with the incoming calls.
