Turning off iPhone alarm turns off subsequent alarms

I have adhd and use the alarm function on the clock app to help with taking my medication and to wake up. Recently I’ve noticed my alarms not going off or only one going off. For This morning I set two alarms, one at 6:30 am to take my prescription and one at 7:30 to wake up. This morning my 6:30 alarm went off and turned it off as usual (not hitting snooze). At 7:30 my alarm did not go off. I tested this after I fortunately woke up on time and it did the same thing.

edit: I’ve tried other methods of trying to reset this like deleting all of my alarms, turning off the sleep and screen/downtime functions to see if these were affecting it at all but they didn’t solve the issue.

Hey Iphone11user808,

The information below may help.

If you haven't already, restart your iPhone. Restarting has been known to resolve some software related issues. For steps, see below or click here: Restart your iPhone.

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

If issue continues, make sure your iPhone is up-to-date. Updates include security updates and fixes. Keeping your iPhone up-to-date ensures all updates and fixes are installed. Update by following the steps below or in this article: Update your iPhone or iPad. Before updating, follow the 1 step and back up your iPhone. The latest version is iOS 16.5

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Take care.

This happens with me as well. When I have multiple alarms set, if I turn the first one off instead of hitting snooze, it turns off the rest of the alarms.

I thought it would just turn off that alarm and the others would go off. I don’t want to snooze the first one and then have snooze alarms plus the other alarms I set continuing to go off.

I also don’t like that you can’t set the time frame for the snooze.
