faulty charging port
Charging port appears to be dislodged on my iPhone 12 max, so I cannot insert the usb charger. Is this a manufacturer problem? How do I get it fixed?

Hi There,
It sounds like your iPhone's charger port is physically damaged. The Apple One Year Warranty does not cover physical damage (also known as "Accidental Damage") and therefore this would be a paid expense, unless you have AppleCare+ which you might be able to have this fixed for a service fee (not free).
You will want to either contact Apple Support by going to: https://getsupport.apple.com and fill out the prompts for your issue to get in contact with Apple Technical Support who can provide you repair options.
You can also view the repair prices here: iPhone Repair & Service - Apple Support and scroll down to "How much will it cost". The type of damage your issue falls under is "Other Damage" and so your Out of Warranty cost would be $599 USD.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to diagnose the cause or extent of the issue without physically examining the phone. We could say something like......."this sounds like xxxxxx may have occurred".......but that would simply be a guess at this point.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or visit an authorized Apple Service shop to let them take a look and go over your options with you.
