Forgot my notes password

When you lock a note with a password you are encrypting that note which can only be decrypted by entering the original password that was used to lock the note. If you used your iPhone passcode you might have an option to use your iPhone Passcode to unlock the note. Otherwise, if you created a custom password there is no way to access your locked notes if your forget the password.

You can however reset your notes password and use this new password for future notes but it will not give you access to your previously locked notes.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn't have access to locked notes and can’t help you access them if you forget your notes password.
