iCloud Mail- turn off conversation mode

iCloud Mail appears to now be grouping emails by conversation, a feature I cannot stand. I have seen several boards with complaints about this new feature, all indicating there is no way to turn this off. Has anyone figured out a way to turn this feature off? The old boards reference a way to turn it off, but that way no longer appears available. I am accessing through Windows, not Mac. If this is a feature that cannot be disabled, I'll need to switch to a different email provider.

Mail keeps organizing by conversation Something has happened in the last week where mail now organizes all emails by conversation. I've turned off the check mark on view, restarted in safe mode, and all of the other suggestions in the previous thread related to this issue posted back in Jan 2023.
