Blue spot on my ipad screen

I have used it for like 7 months and i noticed a weird blue spot on the screen while watching netflix. It only appeared on dark screen and i have removed my screen protector so its not because of that. I havent dropped it and it’s never been contacted to water. My ipad is still under 1 year warrenty but does Apple cover that? And how long does it take to repair my ipad? I have been waiting for 2 weeks.
