issue with the app only applies on darkmode from the app checked other phone iPhone specifically and only occurs to mine did a master reset but still it happens seems like to happen to specified themes from messenger is this a app phone compatibility issue?

I’m having a similar issue on my iPhone 14. Messenger is behaving like I’ve deselected dark mode (when I clearly have it selected), and whenever I select a theme, it gives me the “light mode” theme. For example, if I select the dark blue tie dye theme, I get a white background with light blue tie dye. It’s so weird.I’ve uninstalled messenger and Facebook, restarted my phone, and toggled with the dark mode function in my phone’s settings and messenger. Still nothing. I saw it just sporadically change last night in the middle of a conversation. I wonder if the new iOS update has anything to do with it.
Not just nightmode on mine. When I switch over to day mode, it turns text black but that’s about it. The themes themselves are still glitchy. Mine started doing it randomly today. It was working fine in one convo but I switched to another and it started doing this.
