WhatsApp settings with screen time

When setting up screen time for my 10-year-old WhatsApp is disabled. Even if I list WhatsApp under "always allowed" it's still not accessible on the iPhone. It's not possible to find the app under "App Limits ".

Screentime limits I have downtime set up on my child’s phone. I have included WhatsApp as a “blocked app” during downtime yet they are continuing to be able to use it during downtime. I have certain apps that have a limited amount of time set for use each day yet for these as well, they can frequently go over the limit. I have updated to the most recent software for both devices yet this continues to occur. I’m not sure what else I can do as I have tried multiples ways to address this issue. Thanks

whatsapp has disappeared and states restrctions enabled We’ve set up a phone for our son and have downloaded WhatsApp for him and it worked fine. Last night his phone updated to ios15.5 and WhatsApp has disappeared from his home screen. We have tried to open it from the App Store but get a message stating Restrictions are Enabled and to use the app we have to turn restrictions off. It is an allowed app so don’t understand what has happened or how to fix it.

WhatsApp is under Social Category for App Limits in Screen Time.

Thank you for your answer. However, the WhatsApp app does not show under the "social app" category, in fact, it does not show up when I search for it either. The only way I'm able to find it is by turning off screen time.
