How do I remove lost AirTag from my Apple id

We're sorry to hear that your AirTag has been lost but we have some information to share with you that we think will be helpful. The first step is going to be marking your AirTag as "lost" in the Find My app. Once you've done that, you'll be able to remove the AirTag from Find My entirely so that it is no longer associated with your Apple ID as you indicated. You can find the steps for that below.
