iPad Keyboard
I do spread my fingers apart to make my keyboard bigger but it doesn’t work. I’ve been struggling with this for months. Can anyone help me please?

Have you enabled the Scribble feature? This feature uses a different mini-keyboard that does not respond to the two-finger zoom or pinch gestures.
Settings > Apple Pencil > Scribble - set to OFF
After disabling Scribble, you may need to force-restart your iPad:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
Otherwise, to restore the new Floating Keyboard to the normal on-screen keyboard presentation, use the two-finger “zoom” gesture (i.e., the reverse of the two-finger “pinch”).
If the Split Keyboard is restored instead of the full on-screen keyboard, you can either use two fingers (one on each of the two half-keyboards) and swipe the two halves together - or touch-and-hold the “keyboard” key, then slide your finger to the Merge & Dock option and release.

Should your attempts to adjust touch sensitivity go further, there
may be some additional steps to try; according to some articles
about settings, from Apple Support with more suggestions..
Have you tried this path? ~ From general iPadOS settings:
"Settings > General > Accessibility > Touch Accommodations and turn-on Touch Accommodations."
(Because my iPad is an antique ~ none of these been field tested here.)
Use AssistiveTouch on iPad - Apple Support

Screen protectors had been known to interfere with touch.
Settings in iOS (iPad/iPhone) include adjustments to Haptic
Touch; these may require adjustments. Not a new feature.
..Yet improvement often takes place. One may find few issue
or a resolution to an older problem, with said "improvement"..
[I've significant issues with my older iPhone SE (1) and touch
is mostly impossible; basics are sketchy, using cheap stylus.
A small screen & touch incapability, make this most useless.]
Thank you! I tried the first suggestion and it worked! Can’t believe it!!
