I will be traveling to Italy during Xmas. Bringing 2 Apple TVs, giving one to my brother and his wife and using the other; is there a way to buy the power cables used in Italy before leaving the US?

Apple TV uses a standard “C7” power cable, identifiable by the ‘figure 8’ plug for the device side. Any electronics store should have them. If you buy that in Italy, then the wall plug side of the power cord will fit the local AC outlets.
Italy uses the European standard plug Type C for relatively low power devices (≲2.5 amps).
Amazon probably sells this in the US. I see it advertised in USD.

I ordered a power cable in India from Amazon for Apple TV it’s a C7 cable mentioned rating is 10 A and 250 Volts, I am not sure if this works coz at the Apple Store the cable is mentioned 2.5 A and 250 Volts. Please help?

I just ordered 2 cords (Cee 7/16 Plug with a IEC C7 Socket) from McMaster Carr.
now I'll get some usb chargers...
10 A is a maximum. It will work fine for 2.5 A uses, or anything else less than 10 A.
