App store app release with only email and password

I am in the process of creating an ios app, that I want to publish on the app store. Does an ios app require email verification or a 2-step authentication for the normal sign-in/register process compulsorily if I only use email and password ?

Will I need to include Apple sign-in for my app?

Ah, okay. The reference to this being a third-party service login was omitted from your original posting.

Whether to use two-factor or tokens or whatever is entirely up you and to the third-party service.

You will need to provide a login for Apple to test with, as part of submission.

Two-factor authentication is a requirement for an Apple Developer account.

That might be the Apple traditional two-factor authentication, or could be security tokens.

The developer account is how you submit the app, and how you access various developer-related features and displays. You can use whatever Apple ID you want locally for development and that within the limitations of an un-enrolled developer, but the app store submission and some other functions must use an Apple ID enrolled in the Apple Developer program.

my doubt is with my IOS app and not the developer account

You’ll want to elaborate on that, then.

Apps don’t have email, and don’t have two-factor authentication.

Not unless the app developer has decided to incorporate that feature in their app.

Apps do have an Apple ID associated with the app developer, and that Apple ID needs two-factor.
