Disabled Iphone
Hello,
I have an old iPhone 7 that belonged to my dad. He passed away six years ago.
The iPhone is disabled and I would like to unlock it in order to get the pictures on it.
Is there any way I can do it?

If you don’t know his screen lock passcode there is no way to get anything off of the phone. If he synced it to his iCloud account or backed it up you can request access to his Apple ID→How to request access to a deceased family member's Apple accounts - Apple Support

No, you can’t back up a disabled phone, but if he had enabled iCloud photo sync it would have been uploaded to iCloud in near real time, and, if you have his Apple ID and password, you can see it by logging in to https://icloud.com/photos.
He took a picture on the same day that he passed and I'm just not sure it backed up. Is there a way to force a backup even when the iPhone is disabled?
