is cleanmymac x a good solution for speeding up my imac

Never install any app that claims to "tune up", "speed up" or "clean up" your Mac.

These apps exist for one reason: to separate the unwary and inexperienced user from their hard-earned money.

At best they do very little, at worst, they can damage your OS installation and cause far more problems than they "solve".

You can post an Etrecheck report, a tool developed by a well respected member of this community to analyze your Mac. No Personally identifiable information is recorded.

You can post the generated Etrecheck report, and someone can take a look at it and offer suggestions of what can be done to improve the Mac's performance.

• Is the compteur slow to staort up?
• Are apps slow to launch?
• Once launched, do the apps seen to run at acceptable speed.

CleanMyMac is not good for anything. Don't install it.
