apple card promo at Ace Hardware not working

I used my Apple Card at Ace hardware and only received a 2% discount not the advertised 6%. Anymore else have this problem?

Apple Card is a co-brand credit card. Support is through Goldman Sachs Bank. To the best of my knowledge support is through the US and not offshore. In fact much of it is centered around Orlando, FL. Not sure where your support person was located, but in any event beyond the scope of this forum, or your question.


In regard to your question about Daily Cash you received, I can only state that my past experience has been through calling Goldman Sachs Bank and they have never denied me a >courtesy< of applying the missing bonus percentage. Your experience could be different, and evidently yours was. My advice would be to call back and ask for a supervisor.

Same here. I called GS support and the overseas rep was not helpful. Didn’t seem to know what I was talking about, she was like a deer in headlights.


I didn’t even get 3%, let alone 6%. I got 2%.


also disappointed it was an overseas rep with an obvious language/comprehension issue. Long pause after long pause. I finally asked that they investigate and get back with me. Not holding my breath.


This is not the excellent customer support Apple is known for.


Apple: find another bank to partner with. Or insist that GS provide customer support consistent with Apple, before it damages your reputation.

The bonus percentage usually is applied when the charge is finalized and no longer pending. If you still aren’t seeing the bonus after a few days, please contact the Apple Specialist at Goldman Sachs Bank.
