Apple Music

So a while back I had an apple account that I shared with my wife. This worked fine until we noticed that some apps purchased (fitness apps mostly) would only record data for one person. so I created a new apple account for myself. Over the years I have uploaded numerous purchased CD's to Apple Music. Now with the new ID I am no longer able to access this library. Is there a solution that doesn't involve sharing app store purchases? I just want to be able to access my music library. Thanks

  1. Apple IDs should never be shared. Each person should always have their own.
  2. Sharing purchases will not share matched or uploaded music to the Apple Music subscription service iCloud Music library.
  3. CDs you match or upload to the Apple Music subscription service iCloud Music Library become tied to the Apple Music subscription service and the Apple ID that holds the subscription. You cannot access features from the service when using an Apple ID that does have the subscription on it. You can directly sync the CDs from a computer that has them to your devices if you want however.

You can turn on Family Sharing and access any purchases made in the iTunes Store on the other Apple ID yes.

Music ripped from CDs or added to iTunes from other sources and then matched or uploaded to the Apple Music 's iCloud Music library will not be accessible to you through Family Sharing.

Again, you would need to sync the music from a computer.
