Two IMEI numbers

An iPhone with two IMEI numbers usually indicates that it’s a dual SIM version, which can support two cellular plans at once. One IMEI number is for the physical SIM slot, and the other is for the eSIM. Here’s how you can use both:

1. Physical SIM: Insert a SIM card from a cellular provider into the SIM card slot on the iPhone.

2. eSIM: To use the eSIM, you’ll need to get a plan from a cellular provider that supports eSIMs. They’ll provide a QR code, in the iPhone settings go to “Cellular” > “Add Cellular Plan” and scan the QR code. Alternatively, some providers allow you to add an eSIM plan via their app.

Once both plans are active, you can choose which one to use for data and default voice. You can even specify different plans for personal and work contacts. Note that the ability to use both numbers simultaneously for voice, SMS, MMS, and data depends on your network provider’s support for dual SIM with dual standby.

If you have a dual-SIM iPhone, it would be expected to have two IMEI numbers, one for each SIM.
