Functions on Apple Watch not working

I have a shortcut that works, just not on my Apple Watch series 8 running the current Watch OS. I get a ‘something went wrong’ error on the Watch.

It’s very simple, it gets the current weather, then speaks the current conditions, like temperature and humidity.

Having the shortcut speak is important because I’m using this for someone who is sight impaired.

Are there certain functions like “get current weather” that simply do not work on the Apple Watch? If so, is there a list of those functions or work arounds for this issue?
