Which macbook should I buy?

I am planning to buy a MacBook but I could not decide which one to buy;

First option is the new m2 MacBook Air base model with 15 inch, which has a 256 GB SSD - 8 GB Memory - 8 CPU and 10 GPU. Second option is MacBook Pro 14 inch, which has a 1 TB SSD - 16 GB Memory - 8 CPU and 14 GPU.

What I am planning to do is with the MacBook is:

Daily surfing on the web and watching film etc.
Coding ( Angular based and Swift ) * most of the time I will run multiple projects even is they are small
Time to time playing games
Connecting to the multiple 2k or 4k screens ( at most 2 screen )
Storing all of my data since MacBook will be the portable one

So actually it fells like the answer is very obvious but I wanted to be sure.

for that intended use, I would recommend the MBP 14 in with the specs you listed above. you might also want to consider going for 32 GB RAM due to your desire of coding and gaming. and, AFAIK, the Air will not run two external monitors anyways. but that may have changed with the upcoming MBAs.

I just came across this in another discussion: MacBook Air 13- and 15-inch with M2 - Tech Specs - Apple

apparently two external displays is still a no go on the MBA.

The number of external displays these machines support is pretty consistently tied to the SoC, The 15” Air has the same SoC as the 13” one, so the limit of one external display is not surprising.
