Unlikely, but possible. But the main thing is even if it does contain anything, it cannot work on an iPhone. Any spyware embedded in a photo cannot run on an iPhone at all, because due to the nature of iOS it would be entirely unable to exit whatever app you used to view the image in and even run. iOS is sandboxed as such remote installation of spyware is near impossible.
My battery is draining faster than normal and Im also hearing echos while talking on the phone for no reason. Is my only option a factory reset? Also, is there an app or program I can run to fix the issue? My last device had been cloned and he removed incriminating pictures, thankfully I had already taken pics of them from a secure phone.
Nothing to do with spyware. No app can actually can opt fix anytihng since like the spyware, it cannot scan outside its app area.
An iOS device cannot be cloned. He can have accessed your Apple ID, and deleted photos from iCloud, but that has nothing to do with your iPhone being cloned.
You can erase your iPhone and set it up again, if it makes you feel better.
