Battery health dropped to 99% only in 70 days

My iPhone 14 plus battery health dropped to 99% within 70 days of purchase. I don’t play games and haven’t downloaded many applications. I also use my phone cautiously. Can I visit the service centre for this?

1. The 1% figure is an average. Actual results vary.

2. Getting the battery replaced because it's dropped below 80% is free if it happens within the warranty or AppleCare+ period. If it hasn't, whether you'd be able to get it replaced is at the service provider's discretion, but it almost certainly won't be granted at 99%.

3. It's not yet a problem, and shouldn't be considered one before it drops below 80% unless you anticipate that you won't be able to get a replacement when it does.

Read this support article about iPhone battery and performance to learn about the battery health feature and what is considered normal performance --> iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support

"A normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles when operating under normal conditions. The one-year warranty includes service coverage for a defective battery. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers battery service for a charge." A degraded battery may display the notice: "Your battery’s health is significantly degraded. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace the battery to restore full performance and capacity." If it is not at or above 80% "normal", consider contacting Apple about a battery replacement. --> iPhone Battery Repair & Replacement - Apple Support

Isn’t it an insane reply? You mean to say that every after 20 months the iPhone user have to get their phone’s battery replaced. Are such replacements of the battery are free of cost? I’m a regular user of samsung mobiles since last 8 years and my last samsung mobile was S10 Lite, which I bought in March 2019 for INR. 45000. S10 Lite’s performance was still the same till I started using IPhone 14. And with this IPhone 14 I’m facing this problem within 70 days of purchasing this for INR. 78000. Kindly, explain the benefit of spending INR. 78000.
